Terms of Service

The short version

dub44 lets you clone your own voice and generate English speech with it. Use it with voices you own or have permission for, pay for what you subscribe to, and don't use it to deceive people. That's most of it.

Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of digital consent in your country.
• You sign in with email magic links; keep access to your inbox secure.
• You are responsible for what is generated with your account.

Plans, trial and payment

• Prices shown include VAT where it applies. VAT-registered businesses in other EU member states can enter a VAT number at checkout, in which case the reverse charge applies and we charge no VAT. Estonian businesses are charged Estonian VAT as normal.
• New accounts can start a 7-day free trial on the Starter or Creator plan. A payment method is required; nothing is charged during the trial, and it converts to that plan’s monthly price unless cancelled first. We email you two days before the first charge. Trial audio is shorter and lower bitrate. One trial per account.
• Paid plans are billed by Stripe as subscriptions (monthly or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled in the billing portal.
• Unused minutes don't roll over between billing periods.
• Prices exclude VAT; tax is calculated at checkout based on your location.

Your content

• Your voice samples and generated audio remain yours. We claim no ownership.
• You may use generated audio commercially on paid plans.
• All generated audio includes an inaudible provenance watermark; we don't remove it and neither should you.

What we may do

• Suspend accounts that violate the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Change prices or features with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
• Discontinue the service with at least 60 days' notice and a chance to export your audio.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
